Have fun!
Here’s looking forward to a successful year for Action Game Maker! We hope you all had a fun night partying. ![]()
The release of Action Game Maker in Japan has been pushed back to March 5, 2009. Enterbrain has cited an effort to improve the program to compete with similar software as a reason for the delay.
We finally have a translation of the editor, so we can get an idea of what the program’s like.

Credit goes to scherzo and isaacsol of rpgmakervx.net for the translation.
Enterbrain’s blog has made another announcement regarding Action Game Maker — and more specifically, its XBOX360 capabilities! The post came with three new shots of the program.
They’re pretty big, so I’m going to link them.
I believe that these are images of the editor being used from the XBOX360 itself, but I’m not certain. The announcement talks about a feature called “inside XBOX”.
If there is anybody who has a good kowledge of Japanese and is willing to translate, leave a comment!
We’re sorry for the last couple of days of downtime. It was a server issue that was out of our hands. Things seem okay now.
That said, Enterbrain hasn’t released any more news on AGM. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we hear something. We are, however, in the process of translating the in-editor screenshots, so look forward to that!
A new blog post on Famitsu.com (here) has some more images of the Action Game Maker program! I’ve just added them to the images page. There are two new images of the editor and an additional screen from one of the platformer games.
The new platform screen shows the player climbing up a vine, proving that ladders will be a functioning part of the platform maker.
Two more screenshots of the editor have been revealed as well. The more interesting one (shown here) appears to be the dialog box for exporting your completed game to Xbox Live.
